Living room upgrade, Oslo
In projects for rental housing, we usually have more limitations: we can’t touch electricity, ceiling light, curtain rails, and such. However, I still have a lot to offer to create a beautiful space. Below is the case based on the apartment I rented myself. As I enjoy warm and soft shades, natural materials, good product design and rich tactility of textures, I came up with the concept of "quiet space". The budget was limited to 50,000 kr for furniture, lighting and decoration, so I mainly focused on IKEA, H&M and Jysk. The resulting product selection includes light-colored wood, laconic forms and accents in marble, along with a carpet and sofa with distinct texture.
